7 AMP 1 STEP Controller & Small Cap Distributor to Holden 253 to 308 with Flat Tappet Cam

This ICE Ignition Mini Kit includes the ICE 7061MC Controller featuring 128 Timing Curves & A Rev Limiter and the ICE Small Cap Distributor for the Holden 253 to 308 V8 with the following:

• FLAT TAPPET Camshaft.

• The engine produces 400+ HP, and the Customer would NOT use an Electronic Vacuum  Advance due to low engine vacuum.

• The engine is fitted with Carburettor(s) - including electronic carburettor(s).

• No forced induction or nitrous.

• Please Note: Customer MUST already have the ICE 4200 Coil and appropriate ICE Igntion Leads to suit your engine

This ICE Ignition Mini kit is ideal for most street & race cars that already have the correct ICE Igntion 4200 Coil and appropriate ICE Igntion Leads. The Rev Limiter provides insurance against accidentally over-revving your engine. This kit can also be used with electronic carburettors that control "Air & Fuel" only. The Digital Inductive Spark technology delivers the most powerful spark and longest duration of any ignition system on the market. More spark means greater tuneability which leads to improved performance.

The ICE Ignition 7 AMP 1 STEP Control Box

The ICE Ignition 7061MC Street Series Control Box features the following.

• 128 Pre-programmed ignition curves - 128 push-button selectable ignition curves enable total timing adjustment in real time. 

  • It eliminates the need for distributor re-graphing when engine upgrades are introduced.

  • It also enables total timing adjustment in real time for changes in fuel quality.

• Single Rev Limiter (1-STEP) - A push-button selectable rev limiter adjustable in 100 RPM increments. It provides great insurance against accidentally over-revving your engine by cutting out the spark.

The controller must be mounted inside your car, NOT inside your engine bay. ICE Ignition recommends the use of NON-RESISTOR Spark Plugs.

What's in the ICE Ignition Mini Kit?

This ignition kit includes the following

1. 7061MC Controller - 128 pre-defined timing curves & a push-button selectable rev limiter.

2. ICE Ignition SMALL CAP (4" Diameter) Billet Distributor -  It's made from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium and uses a “Hall Effect Sensor” to communicate with the Control Box. 

   • If you prefer a LARGE CAP Distributor (5" Diam.) include the following in the Customer Comments section during checkout. "Please supply this kit with a LARGE CAP Distributor". This is a NO-COST option.

   • A CAST IRON gear is fitted to the distributor to suit a FLAT TAPPET Cam. ​

3. Wiring Loom - It's approx. 2 metres long and is easy to install.
