ICE Ignition 7 AMP 2 STEP Boost Retard Control Box

PLEASE NOTE: The ICE Ignition 7062BR Controller requires an appropriate ICE Ignition Distributor. It is NOT possible to use another distributor. All ICE Ignition Distributors have a Hall Effect Sensor installed in the distributor. Without this sensor, the ICE Ignition 7062BR controller would not function. We sell the ICE Ignition Distributors individually for most 6-cylinder and V8 engines on eBay.

The ICE Ignition 7062BR Street/Race Series Control Box features the following.

1. 10 Pre-programmed Boost Retard curves - The push-button selectable curves enable fine boost control through timing retardation. With the ICE Ignition 7062BR, you can vary timing from 0.1 to 1.0 degrees of timing per pound of boost. The MAXIMUM degrees of boost retard possible is 22 degrees. It eliminates the need for distributor re-graphing when engine upgrades are introduced. It allows you to adjust total timing for changes in fuel quality.
2. Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor - The MAP sensor detects when your engine is generating boost and will automatically retard timing depending on the amount of boost detected and the "Retard Select" position used. 
3. MAX REV Limiter - A push-button selectable rev limiter that can be adjusted in 100 RPM increments. It provides great insurance against accidentally over-revving your engine by cutting out the spark.
4. 2-STEP Rev Limiter - A push-button selectable rev limiter that can be adjusted in 100 RPM increments. The 2-STEP only becomes active when 12  volts are applied to the white wire in the ignition wiring loom. When active, the 2-STEP takes precedence over the Max REV Limiter. It's ideal if you have a trans brake, launch control, or it could be used as a Valet Mode.

The ICE Ignition controller must be mounted inside your car. Do not mount it inside your engine bay. ICE Ignition strongly recommends the use of NON-RESISTOR Spark Plugs.
